By accessing or using the WatchPartyLive platform and related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must immediately stop using the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, creators, and any other individuals who access or interact with the Service in any capacity.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. When registering, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information and keep it up to date at all times.
If you suspect unauthorized access to your account or any other security breach, you must notify us immediately at security@watchpartylive.com. WatchPartyLive will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized account access that results from your failure to maintain account security.
You must be at least 13 years of age to create a WatchPartyLive account. Users between 13 and 17 years of age must have obtained verifiable parental or guardian consent prior to registration.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner that respects the rights and experience of other users. You must not use the Service to:
All content streamed or shared through WatchPartyLive must comply with applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You are solely responsible for ensuring you hold the necessary rights, licenses, and permissions for any content you stream, share, or make available through the Service. WatchPartyLive is not liable for copyright infringement committed by users.
WatchPartyLive reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to remove any content and permanently terminate the accounts of users who violate these content rules or any other provision of these Terms.
Paid subscription plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are stated in US dollars and are non-refundable except as expressly set out in our Refund Policy. By subscribing, you authorize WatchPartyLive to charge your designated payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel your subscription.
We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing. We will provide at least 30 days' written notice of any price increase before it takes effect, giving you the opportunity to cancel before the new pricing applies.
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time for any reason. You may close your WatchPartyLive account at any time by navigating to Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
WatchPartyLive may suspend or permanently terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, engage in conduct that harms the platform or other users, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. The severity of the violation will determine whether notice is provided in advance.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. WatchPartyLive does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WatchPartyLive shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses. In all cases, our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the amounts you paid to WatchPartyLive in the twelve months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.
